8. 6. Communication from the Department of Employee Relations to extend the temporary appointment for Jodi Wingers, Assistant Accounting Manager, for 6-months, from May 25, 2025 through November 25, 2025. This is the second extension request.

12. 9. The Separation Appeal of Antoine Young, Business Systems Coordinator, City Attorney's Office.

    Action: PLACED ON FILE Passed

    The Commission went into a closed session at 4:08pm and came back into open session at 4:33pm. The commission found based on a preponderance of the evidence that the Department had just cause to separate the appellant, Mr. Young.

13. ADJOURNMENT
14. The Board may convene in closed session pursuant to Section 19.85 (1)(a) Wis. Stats., to deliberate concerning a case which was the subject of a quasi-judicial hearing before the Board of City Service Commissioners. The Board may then reconvene in open session concerning any such item following the closed session pursuant to Section 19.85 (2) Wis. Stats.
15. In the event that Common Council members who are not members of this committee attend this meeting, this meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of the following committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel, Judiciary and Legislation, Licenses, Public Safety and Health, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development, and/or Steering and Rules. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority. In the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting.
