    The City Council of the City of Charlotte, North Carolina convened for an Organizational Meeting - the Oath of Office Ceremony on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 7:03 p.m. in the Meeting Chamber 267 of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center with Mayor Jennifer Roberts presiding. In attendance were Council members Dimple Ajmera, Ed Driggs, Julie Eiselt, Claire Fallon, Carlenia Ivory, Patsy Kinsey, Vi Lyles, LaWana Mayfield, James Mitchell, Greg Phipps, and Kenny Smith.

Mitchell, Jr., At-Large, Greg Phipps, District 4, and Braxton Winston, At-Large. Matt Newton, District 5 was absent.
