  2. **Informational and Public Comments** The HOME/ARP Funding from the United States Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD) in the amount of $8,397,188 will allow the City of Kansas City, Missouri to provide funding for Non-Congregate Housing, Supportive Services, Operating Assistance, and Administration of the Program. Throughout the development of the HOME/ARP Allocation Plan stakeholders and residents are able to provide input through focus groups, interviews, surveys and public hearings. The Draft HOME/ARP Allocation Plan and Resident Input Sheets for your comments will be available at the Housing Committee Meeting or may be obtained by emailing the Housing and Community Development Department (HCDD) at housing@kcmo.org; or www.kcmo.gov/city-hall/housing, or Royce.myers@kcmo.org. The public comment period will begin on February 13, 2023 and continue until February 28, 2023. The overall purpose of the funding is to provide homeless services, shelter and housing to the vulnerable households and families in Kansas City Missouri known as “qualifying populations.” Informational sessions, consultations, and feedback was gathered specifically for the HOME/ARP Program to gain insight of the qualifying populations. This draft HOME-ARP Allocation Plan document will be available to the public electronically February 10, 2023, and will also be available on request in limited hard copies by mail. Discussion and comments will be limited to the draft HOME-ARP Allocation Plan. An electronic version will be available on HCDD’s website, www.kcmo.gov/city-hall/housing.
