2. 260316 Sponsor: Director of Finance Department Waiving the limitations established by the Fund Balance and Reserve Policy in Section 2-1954 of the Code of Ordinances; appropriating $200,000.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Convention and Tourism Fund (2360) for expenditures related to hosting the World Cup; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

3. 260609 Sponsor: Committee of Petitioners Amending Chapter 74, Code of Ordinances, by enacting a new Section 74-401, prohibiting City officers, agents, and employees from implementing, advancing, furthering, or fostering any plan to design or construct, with material support from the City, a stadium, arena, or similar venue, with a seating capacity of 2,500 or more, for use by a for-profit business, or ancillary development or certain necessary infrastructure support for that stadium, arena, or similar venue, except by ordinance submitted to and approved by the voters; recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date; and including a severability clause.

4. 260610 Sponsor: Committee of Petitioners Enacting a new Section 68.475, continuing a 3/8 % city bus sales tax for an additional period of 40-years (upon its expiration in 2033) and enacting a new 1/4 cent capital improvement sales tax for 40-years (beginning 1/1/2026) for the purpose of benefiting the City under the guidance of the City Council, pursuant to Sections 94.600 through 94.655 RSMo., providing for the submission of this ordinance to the qualified voters of the city for their approval at the next election date that may be provided by law, authorizing the City Clerk to notify the responsible election authorities of this election; authorizing and directing the City Clerk to notify the Missouri Director of Revenue if the proposal is approved by voters, and recognizing this ordinance to be an emergency measure.

5. 260629 Sponsor: Councilmember Nathan Willett RESOLUTION - Updating the City of Kansas City, Missouri's Annual Federal Legislative Priorities to include support for the passage of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act and expressing the City's support for strengthening election integrity by ensuring that only eligible United States citizens are registered to vote in federal elections.

6. 260638 Sponsor: Councilmember Nathan Willett Establishing the Kansas City Data Center Transparency Task Force to develop recommendations regarding the planning, regulation, and operation of data centers; directing the development of policies to improve transparency, protect utility ratepayers, coordinate regulatory updates, strengthen workforce development, establish community benefit guidelines, evaluate municipal revenue options, and conduct public engagement; and directing the submission of recommendations to the Mayor and City Council.

7. 260838 Sponsor: Director of Law Department Approving the settlement of the City’s affirmative claims against Hyundai Motor America, Inc. and Kia America, Inc. in the litigation styled City of Kansas City v. Hyundai Motor America, Inc., et al., Case No. 4:23-CV-00399-HFS (W.D. Mo.), consolidated in In re: Kia Hyundai Vehicle Theft Marketing, Sales Practices, and Products Liability Litigation, Case No. 8:22-ML-3052-JVS-(KESx) (C.D. Cal.); authorizing the City Attorney to execute a Settlement and Release Agreement on behalf of the City; and providing that the settlement terms remain confidential until the agreement is fully executed by all parties; and directing the City Manager to deposit settlement proceeds to the Violence Prevention Fund.

8. 260858 Sponsor: Director of Law Department Calling an election on April 6, 2027, for the purpose of submitting to the voters of Kansas City a question of whether to enact an ordinance that prohibits City officers, agents, and employees from implementing, advancing, furthering, or fostering a plan to design or construct certain stadiums or arenas without the approval of a majority of voters and providing for penalties for violations thereof; directing the City Clerk to provide notice of the election; enacting the ordinance contingent upon voter approval; and recognizing an accelerated effective date.

9. 260859 Sponsor: Director of Law Department Calling an election on April 6, 2027, for the purpose of submitting two questions to the voters of Kansas City that would enact an ordinance that imposes a one-fourth cent (1/4%) sales tax and continues a three-eighths cent (3/8%) sales tax and authorizing the City to seek federal funding and undertake capital improvement projects involving the development of a citywide monorail system, conversion of existing roadways, operation of an electric bus shuttle service, improvements to Penn Valley Park, and establishment of a regional transportation hub at Union Station; enacting the sales taxes contingent upon voter approval of each question; directing the City Clerk to provide notice of the election; directing the City Clerk to provide notice to the Director of Revenue if either or both of the sales tax questions are passed by the voters; and recognizing an accelerated effective date.
