  1. Alcohol Beverage Advisory Group to meet April 3 The City of Kansas City, Missouri’s, Alcohol Beverage Advisory Group will conduct its next meeting on Monday, April 3, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Regulated Industries Division office at Century Towers, 635 Woodland Avenue, in suite 2101. At this meeting, the Alcohol Beverage Advisory Group will: • Vote on the nomination of a person to fill the vacant clergy position. • Discuss amending Chapter 10, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Section 10-332, Restrictions and prohibited acts by all retail licensees, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section of like number and subject matter which clarifies that marijuana, in any form, cannot be sold or consumed on a licensed premises. • Hold a discussion about where a measurement should be taken from a licensed premises which determines the eligible voters in the liquor application process. The Alcoholic Beverage Advisory Group consists of 12 members from the community and the manager of the Regulated Industries Division. The purpose of the group is to review recommended changes to Chapter 10 of the City Ordinance when they are made. Recommendations are made regarding public safety and take into consideration new standards and advances within the liquor industry as they may apply to the current liquor laws. The manager of Regulated Industries Division shares the Alcohol Beverage Advisory Group's recommendations with the City Council for further review and consideration.
