When you join the meeting via Microsoft Teams, you will be joining as an “attendee” which means that you will be observing and listening to the Group members have their discussion. When the Chair of the group asks for public testimony, you can click on “raise your hand” at the top of the screen and staff will bring you into the discussion. Once you are brought into the discussion you will be visible to the Group and will be able to speak and be heard. At this meeting, the Alcohol Beverage Advisory Group will continue its discussion about amending Chapter 10, Code of Ordinances, which have been proposed to multiple sections of the ordinance. The Alcoholic Beverage Advisory Group consists of 12 members from the community and the manager of the Regulated Industries Division. The purpose of the group is to review City ordinances from Chapter 10 on a routine basis and review recommendations accordingly. The recommendations are made with regard to public safety and take into consideration new standards and advances within the liquor industry as they may apply to the current liquor laws. The manager of Regulated Industries Division shares the group's recommendations with the City Council for further review and consideration.
