Commissioner Hahm nominates Commissioner Montegomery for Vice Chair. Commissioner Montomgery indicated ahead of the meeting that she would accept. A voice vote is take. Commissioner Montgomery is elected Vice Chair by a unanimous vote. Commissioner Lee arrives at 1:02 PM. Commissioner Hahm nominates Commissioner Wasley for Secretary. Commissioner Wasley accepts and a voice vote is take. Commissioner Wasley is elected Secretary by a unanimous vote.

Safety and Inspections Director Angie Wiese, Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity Deputy Director Beth Commers, and Public Works Director Sean Kershaw presented to Commission. A public hearing was held; three members of the public spoke, one in favor, two opposed. Commissioners had the opportunity to ask additional questions to City staff and discuss the proposal. This item will be laid over until the next meeting of the Charter Commission.
