    Kasey Maier, Waterfront Botanical Gardens, provided an update and answered questions. John Callihan, Mayor's Office, also spoke and answered questions.

  8. 2. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $110,000 OF FUNDING FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET FOR THE RIGHT OF WAY PHASE FOR THE KENWOOD ELEMENTARY SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL PROJECT ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS & ASSETS.

    Action: recommended for approval Passed

    A motion was made by Committee Member Benson, seconded by Committee Member Coan, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. Mache' Readus-Wright, Metro Public Works and Assets, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar.

  9. 3. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR’S SIGNATURE ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS CONCERNING A PROJECT FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE STREETSCAPE ON E. MAIN STREET BETWEEN CLAY AND JACKSON STREETS.
