    Chair Person Fowler called the meeting to order at 3:03 PM.

    Chair Person Fowler introduced the committee members present. A quorum was established.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT AND RECEIVE A STIPEND FROM THE KENTUCKY REGIONAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY IN THE AMOUNT OF $130,000 TO SUPPORT TECHNICAL OR PROFESSIONAL PLANNING/DATA COLLECTION SERVICES AS INDICATED IN THE KENTUCKY REGIONAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY’S FISCAL YEAR 2018 UNIFIED PLANNING WORK PROGRAM.

    A motion was made by Committee Member Welch, seconded by Committee Member Benson, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. Stuart Sparks, Public Works & Assets, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar.

  5. 2. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $73,400 OF GRANT FUNDING FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT CABINET FOR THE APPLICATION OF A RUBBER-MODIFIED ASPHALT OVERLAY PROJECT ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS & ASSETS.
