The following spoke to this item: - Council President James - Committee Member Piagentini - Committee Member Ackerson - Chair George The following was discussed: - Question about Kentucky citizens still paying tolls for bridges - Question about the removal of River Link tolls - Question about whether the Federal funds can be used to finance future infrastructure projects - Question about infrastructure funding to the Ohio River Bridges project - It was stated that there was total bipartisanship among all parties - Over $400 million has been paid in tolls - Question about the limitations on how federal funds being spent A motion was made by Chair George, seconded by Committee Member Piagentini, that this Resolution be amended as shown in the attached document titled "R-055-22 PROPOSED FAM 041422 Ohio Bridges Project Federal Funding.pdf". The amendment was discussed, but no vote was taken.
