    Chair Fox called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.

    Chair Fox introduced the committee members present. A quorum was established. *NOTE: All committee members present attended virtually, except for Chair Fox and Vice Chair Peden, who attended in chambers.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR AND, UPON APPROVAL, TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY (“KOHS”), TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS WHICH ARE DEEMED NECESSARY BY KOHS TO FACILITATE AND ADMINISTER THE PROJECT AND TO ACT AS THE AUTHORIZED CORRESPONDENT FOR THIS PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,072,341 FOR THE PURCHASE OF BALLISTIC RIFLE PLATES TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE LOUISVILLE METRO POLICE DEPARTMENT.

    Action: recommended for approval

    A motion was made by Vice Chair Peden, seconded by Committee Member Flood, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. The following spoke to this item: - Vice Chair Peden - Officer Todd Richardson, Louisville Metro Police Department - Committee Member Flood The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar.

  5. Adjournment

    Without objection, Chair Fox adjourned the meeting at 3:39 p.m.
