7. 4. AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE IRISH HILL NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN UPDATE AND ADOPTING ITS EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AS AN AMENDMENT TO THE CORNERSTONE 2020 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (CASE NOS. 17NEIGHPLAN1002 AND 17NEIGHPLAN1003) (AS AMENDED).

   A motion was made by Vice Chair Stuckel, seconded by Committee Member Hollander, that this Ordinance be recommended for approval. Committee Member Hollander spoke to the item. A motion was made by Committee Member Hollander, seconded by Committee Member Coan, that this Ordinance be amended by: - Adding "except that the “Historic Re-Use” Sub-Area would be more appropriately classified as the “High Intensity Re-Use” Sub-Area in both the Neighborhood Plan Update and the Executive Summary" at the end of Whereas Statement #4. - Adding "with the exception that the “Historic Re-Use” Sub-Area shall be renamed the “High Intensity Re-Use” Sub-Area" at the end of Section I. - Adding "with the exception that the “Historic Re-Use” Sub-Area shall be renamed the “High Intensity Re-Use” Sub-Area" at the end of Section II. The motion to amend carried by a voice vote. Ken Baker, Advanced Planning, spoke to the item and gave a presentation. A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE PLANNING COMMISSION INITIATE THE PROCESS OF IMPLEMENTING LAND USE RECOMMENDATIONS CONTAINED IN THE EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF THE IRISH HILL NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN UPDATE PERTAINING TO THE CHANGE IN ZONING OF PROPERTIES IDENTIFIED THEREIN, HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING AND FORWARD ITS RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT FOR FINAL ACTION.

9. 6. AN ORDINANCE DENYING A TEXT AMENDMENT TO SECTION 6.1.3 OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TO REQUIRE A MINIMUM DISTANCE BETWEEN ACCESS ROADWAYS CONNECTING DEVELOPMENTS WITH AN AGGREGATE OF 200 OR MORE DWELLINGS TO THE SAME EXISTING ROADWAY AND BEING IN LOUISVILLE METRO (CASE NO. 16AMEND1011).
