The motion carried by the following vote and the Ordinance was sent to Old Business: District 14 Council Member Fowler had a vote on this zoning case and voted YES.

7. 4. AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING FROM C-1 COMMERCIAL AND R-4 SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO C-2 COMMERCIAL ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9212 DIXIE HIGHWAY CONTAINING 1.02 ACRES AND BEING IN LOUISVILLE METRO (CASE NO. 18ZONE1030)(AS AMENDED).

   A motion was made by Committee Member Mulvihill, seconded by Committee Member Engel, that this Ordinance be recommended for approval. Brian Davis, Planning and Design Services, spoke to the item and gave a presentation. A motion was made by Committee Member Hollander, seconded by Committee Member Mulvihill, that this Ordinance be amended by adding Binding Element #6 as follows: 6. The following uses shall be prohibited: • Automobile repair garages • Automobile sales agencies • Bingo halls and parlors • Flea market, indoor • Tattoo, body art, and piercing parlors • Used car sales areas, provided that no repair or reconditioning or automobiles or storage of parts shall be permitted except when enclosed in a building. The motion to amend carried by a voice vote. The motion to recommend for approval carried by the following vote and the amended Ordinance was sent to Old Business: District 14 Council Member Fowler had a vote on this zoning case and voted YES.

8. 5. A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION TO REVIEW THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT CODE OF ORDINANCES (“LMCO”) SECTIONS 115.515-115.521 AND THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE (“LDC”) CHAPTER 4 REGARDING SHORT TERM RENTALS.

Council Member Coan and Jeff O'Brien, Develop Louisville, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar.

9. 6. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 150 OF THE LOUISVILLE METRO CODE OF ORDINANCES (“LMCO”) LIMITING THE SCOPE OF THE EXEMPTION OF §156.807 DEMOLITIONS FROM THE WRECKING OR DEMOLITION OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES ORDINANCE
