A motion was made by Committee Member Baker, seconded by Committee Member Batshon, that this Resolution be untabled. Andrew Berry, Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, gave an overview on the opposition to the natural gas pipeline construction through Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest. The following also spoke to this item: - Committee Member Fowler - Committee Member Batshon - Committee Member Ruhe - Chair Arthur - Committee Member Owen - Vice Chair Parker [During the discussion, portions of the attached letter titled "Letter from LG&E 032323.pdf" were read into the record by Committee Member Ruhe and Committee Member Batshon.] Deborah Potts Novgorodoff, Kentucky Student Environmental Coalition, gave a presentation (see attached).

A motion was made by Committee Member Mulvihill, seconded by Committee Member Fowler, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. The following spoke to this item: - John Bechter, Louisville Zoo - Committee Member Fowler - Committee Member Batshon - Committee Member Chappell The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar.
