- Moment of Silence
Council President James stated that Louisville was still in the Orange Zone for COVID. He noted that there was an approved vaccine for children 6 months to 5 years old, and stated that more information could be found at vaccines.gov or by calling the Metro Help Line at 502-912-8598. He asked that everyone keep those families touched by COVID in their thoughts and prayers. Council President James also spoke about the passing of former Alderman Lawrence Montgomery on June 6, 2022, and commemorated his life. Council President James asked that everyone join him in a moment of silence.
