A motion was made by Committee Member Kramer, seconded by Committee Member Engel, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. Council President James spoke to the item. Council Member Sexton Smith requested the following statement be entered into the record: "I am very concerned about the possibility of information that is currently under review through an already instigated criminal investigation, if we do something inadvertantly, unintentionally here on Metro Council level, through an investigation, through our auditor, that somehow impedes or hinders that criminal investigation." Sarah Martin, Jefferson County Attorney's Office, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar.
