A motion was made by Chair Person Ackerson, seconded by Committee Member Hollander, that this amended Resolution be amended by substitution with the attached document titled 'R-016-18 V.1 012518 Res to Ky General Assembly Amend KRS 67C.143'. A motion was made by Committee Member Kramer, seconded by Committee Member Green, that this amended Resolution be tabled. The motion to table was withdrawn by Committee Member Kramer. The motion to amend by substitution was withdrawn by Chair Person Ackerson.

    A motion was made by Committee Member Hollander, seconded by Committee Member Kramer, that this amended Resolution be amended as follows: - Strike through Sections I and II and insert new Section I which reads, "Louisville Metro Council encourages the Kentucky General Assembly to amend KRS ยง 67C.143(1) to clarify the intent of the 2017 changes and the procedure for removal of elected officers of a consolidated local government." - Renumber Section III as Section II The motion to amend carried by a voice vote.
