A motion was made by Committee Member Fowler, seconded by Committee Member Green, that this amended Resolution be recommended for approval. Chair Person Ackerson spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the amended Resolution was sent to Old Business.

A motion was made by Committee Member Kramer that this amended Resolution be tabled. Sarah Martin, Jefferson County Attorney's Office, spoke to the item. A motion was made by Chair Person Ackerson, seconded by Committee Member Hollander, that this amended Resolution be amended back to the original Version 1 (see attached) of the Resolution titled 'R-016-18 V.1 012518 Res to Ky General Assembly Amend KRS 67C.143' with language clarifying the charging committee and the accused do not get a vote in the charging process. Committee Member Engel made a point of order that Chair Person Ackerson did not ask if there was a second to Committee Member Kramer's motion to table. Chair Person Ackerson acknowledged the oversight and the motion to table, made by Committee Member Kramer, was seconded by Committee Member Engel. Chair Person Ackerson requested a roll call vote. The motion to table carried by the following vote and the amended Resolution was tabled:
