    Chair Person Welch called the meeting to order at 4:34 p.m.

    Chair Person Welch introduced the committee members and non-committee members present. A quorum was established. Committee Member Ackerson left at 5:01 p.m.

    Carolyn Miller-Cooper, Human Relations Commission, spoke to the item, gave a presentation, and distributed a handout (see attached). Jeff Mosley, Louisville Forward, also spoke to the item.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A DONATION OF CONSULTING SERVICES AND EXPENSES TO ACCELERATE THE USE OF DATA AND EVIDENCE TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF RESIDENTS FROM THE HARVARD KENNEDY SCHOOL GOVERNMENT PERFORMANCE LAB VALUED UP TO $200,000 TO BE ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE OFFICE OF PERFORMANCE & INNOVATION.

    Action: recommended for approval Passed

    A motion was made by Committee Member Flood, seconded by Vice Chair Parker, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. Joel Neaveill, Office of Management and Budget, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar.

    Without objection, Chair Person Welch adjourned the meeting at 5:11 p.m. *NOTE: Items sent to the Consent Calendar or Old Business will be heard before the full Council at the Metro Council Meeting on August 25, 2016.
