Chair Shanklin welcomed all to the 21st Annual Black History Month Program. Council President Winkler welcomed everyone to City Hall and thanked Chair Shanklin for her hard work in making this event happen for Black History Month. Chair Shanklin recognized the District Honorees and Special Community Honorees. The biographies of each honoree was read. (See the attached program for the complete list of program participants.) Chair Shanklin gave a special recognition to Edwin Ernest, Director of Metro Council Services.
