   Chair Person Woolridge called the meeting to order at 3:10 p.m.

    A motion was made by Committee Member Peden, seconded by Committee Member Shanklin, that this Appointment be recommended for approval. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Appointment was sent to the Consent Calendar.

12. 2. APPOINTMENT OF RICKY JONES TO THE CITIZENS COMMISSION ON POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY BOARD. TERM EXPIRES APRIL 27, 2021.

    A motion was made by Committee Member Blackwell, seconded by Committee Member Green, that this Appointment be recommended for approval Committee Member Peden Requested on behalf of Council Members James and Denton, to hold items 2 and 3 to the end of the agenda in order for David Mutchler of the Fraternal Order of Police to arrive and speak to item 2. During the discussion that followed, Mr. Mutchler arrived and Chair Person Woolridge allowed him to speak to the Committee.
