  1. Call to Order

    Chair Shanklin called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.

  2. Roll Call

    Chair Shanklin introduced the committee members and non-committee members present. A quorum was established. Note: All committee members and non-committee members present attended virtually, except for Council President James, Vice Chair Chambers Armstrong, Council Member Fox, Council Member Piagentini, Committee Member Benson, Council Member George, who attended in Chambers.

    Chair Shanklin welcomed all to the 20th Annual Black History Month Program. Council President James welcomed everyone to City Hall and thanked Chair Shanklin for her hard work in making this event happen for Black History Month. Chair Shanklin recognized the District Honorees and Special Community Honorees. The biographies of each honorree was read. (See the attached program for the complete list of program participants.) Vice Chair Chambers Armstrong recognized the KYANNA Black Nurses Association ("BNA"). A presentation was provided by Cynethia Bethel Jaiteh, KYANNA BNA (see attached).

  5. Adjournment

    Without objection Chair Shanklin adjourned the meeting at 3:26 p.m.
