    Chair Person Woolridge called the meeting to order at 2:32 p.m.

  2. Roll Call

    Chair Person Woolridge introduced the members that were present. A quorum was established. Council Member Welch left at 2:49 and Council Member Denton left at 3:13.

  4. 1. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A GRANT OF $150,000 FROM THE GHEENS FOUNDATION, INC. TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELLNESS’ OFFICE OF SAFE AND HEALTHY NEIGHBORHOODS. (Action Required By: May 2016)

    A motion was made by Council Member Welch, seconded by Chair Person Woolridge, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. Yvette Gentry, Mayor's Office, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar.

  5. 2. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $52,250 FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR THE FAIR HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TO BE ADMINISTERED BY METRO HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION. (Action Required By: June 2016)
