Chair Person McCraney introduced the committee members and non-committee members present. A quorum was established. *NOTE: All committee members and non-committee members present attended virtually, except Chair Person McCraney and Committee Member Arthur, who attended in Chambers.

Chair Person McCraney commended the Committee Members for their work this year covering robust topics and legislation. The following also spoke to this item: - Committee Member Arthur - Committee Member Winkler - Committee Member Holton Stewart - The Committee covered such topics as the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution, the Equal Rights Amendment of the United States Constitution, broadband access and inequities, Equity in job postings, Equity in contracting and procurement, the Brookings Report - Antifa Intelligence, Critical Race Theory, Civil Rights and Equity in Justice - Criminal Justice Reform. - The Committee participated in a Wealth Gap Simulation conducted by Metro United Way. - The Committee also covered such topics as Equity in Elections. - There was a discussion regarding topics the Committee was unable to broach such as Ageism, Generational Gaps, Microaggressions, Racism in Public Health, and Women's Equality Day. - There were several recommendations for future topics, such as, proffering a Resolution to create an equity vision statement for the Louisville Metro Council. - There was a discussion regarding the dedicated work of the Committee Chair throughout the year. - There were several recommendations regarding broaching the topic of pay inequity and the gender inequalities that financially impact individuals.
