   Council President James called the meeting to order at 5:17 p.m. This meeting was held pursuant to KRS 61.826 and Council Rule 5A. 5. Review of Metro Council Agenda

   Council President James reviewed the Metro Council agenda. The following also spoke to this item: - Council Member Fowler spoke to item 66 (O-183-22) that was forwarded from the Parks and Sustainability Committee. - Council President James spoke to item 65 (R-156-22) that was forwarded from the Committee on Committees. - Council Member Arthur spoke to item 67 (R-128-22) that was forwarded from the Committee on Equity and Inclusion. - Council Member Fox spoke to item 68 (O-278-22) that was forwarded from the Public Safety Committee, and he stated that it would be held. - Council Member Flood spoke to items 73 (O-276-22) and 74 (O-302-22) that were forwarded from the Planning and Zoning Committee. - Council Member Dorsey spoke to items 75 (R-146-22), 76 (R-116-22), 77 (R-140-22), and 78 (R-147-22) that were forwarded from the Labor and Economic Development Committee. - Council Member George spoke about item 79 (R-149-22) that was forwarded from the Public Works Committee.

8. Presidential Updates

   Council President James provided updates on the following: - November 17-19, 2022 is the National League of Cities conference - Office Draw for current members will take place on November 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., and Council Members interested need to inform the Clerk's Office by November 16, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Council Member Fowler spoke about hiring attorney J. Stephen Smith to make a decision on the eligibility of the Birthing Center at Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, whom will be paid for by funds from District 14 operations and maybe another District office.

9. Adjournment

   Without objection, Council President James adjourned the meeting at 5:57 p.m.
