Chair Person Blackwell introduced the committee members that were present. A quorum was established. Committee Member Johnson arrived at 4:42 PM.

Michael Bowman, representing District 6, spoke to the item and noted that Council Member James is on the board. Vice Chair Leet stated she is on the Fund for the Arts board. A motion was made by Committee Member Peden, seconded by Committee Member Sexton Smith, that this Ordinance be amended by removing "Festival," from the organization's name. Michael Bowman, representing District 6, spoke to the item and stated the second reimbursement box that was checked in the application does not apply and should be disregarded as no expenditures prior to the application date were requested. A motion was made by Committee Member Peden, seconded by Committee Member Sexton Smith, that this Neighborhood Development Fund be amended by adding $1,000 from District 5 and $500 each from Districts 3 and 21. The motion to amend carried by a voice vote for a new total amount appropriated of $3,000.
