A motion was made by Committee Member Triplett, seconded by Vice Chair Reed, that this Ordinance be recommended for approval. Shalanna Taylor, Legislative Aide for District 6, briefly explained that this was for the annual Shakespeare in the Park events and this year the play would be "Julius Caesar." She also stated that an amendment was needed. A motion was made by Committee Member Fox, seconded by Committee Member Triplett, that this Ordinance be amended to add $1,500 each from Districts 8 and 19. The motion to amend carried by a voice vote for a new total appropriation of $26,250.

Rachel Roarx, Legislative Aide for District 21, explained that this project was to slow down the speeding in this area and described the curb extensions. Committee Member Triplett shared his interest in this project and asked about the timeline, and Rachel Roarx stated that she would share that information when received. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Capital Infrastructure Fund was approved.
