    Chair Person Woolridge called the meeting to order at 3:03 p.m.

  4. Roll Call

    Chair Person Woolridge introduced the committee members present. A quorum was established.

    Althea Jackson, Mayor's Office, spoke to the following Appointments and read the purpose of the Boards and Commissions.

  6. 1. APPOINTMENT OF TODD DUNN TO THE KENTUCKIANA WORKS - GREATER LOUISVILLE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD. TERM EXPIRES MARCH 8, 2021

    A motion was made by Committee Member Blackwell, seconded by Vice Chair Parker, that this Appointment be recommended for approval. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Appointment was sent to the Consent Calendar.

  7. 2. APPOINTMENT OF JAMES YATES TO THE ANCHORAGE MIDDLETOWN FIRE AND EMS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT BOARD. TERM EXPIRES JUNE 30, 2019.

    A motion was made by Committee Member Blackwell, seconded by Vice Chair Parker, that this Appointment be recommended for approval. Sarah Martin, Jefferson County Attorney's Office, spoke to the item. David B. Wagner, Assistant Clerk, spoke to the item. He stated the common note (***THIS APPOINTMENT IS CONDITIONAL UPON THE ANCHORAGE MIDDLETOWN FIRE AND EMS FIRE PROTECTION BOARD BEING LEGALLY FORMED***) in the title of Items 2 - 7 did not need to be read into the record since it was simply a note and that the Board had been legally formed that afternoon.
