A motion was made by Council Member Miller, seconded by Council Member Welch, that this Resolution be untabled. A motion was made by Council Member Miller, seconded by Chairman Yates to amend the resolution by stricking and adding the following: This was stricken: SECTION 1: We request that the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky revise KRS 61.645 to administratively separate CERS from KRS. This was added in its place: We urge passage of HB 546, which calls for increased transparency as well as requiring the Public Pension Overisght Board to study the administrative separation of CERS from KRS. Amendment passed by Voice Vote. Council Member Miller called the question, it was seconded by Council Member Welch. WIithout objection the question was called. At the request of the Chair a Roll Call Vote was taken. The Resolution failed in Committee with the following vote and was sent to Old Business:
