   A motion was made by Chair Richardson, seconded by Member Austin, to approve recommendation, as amended, to come back to the State Legislation Committee with proposed amendments to the State Legislation Agenda that captures the City on the right side of racial equity and take steps to make sure the City Council takes positions of support on the California Legislative Black Caucus 2020 Bill Package. The motion carried by the following vote:

   A motion was made by Chair Richardson, seconded by Member Austin, to approve recommendation as amended, to bring back an amended State Legislation Agenda to the State Legislation Committee and include feedback from Framework for Reconciliation process from the public; and draft a letter of support for the McCarty Bill (AB2342) if it is in alignment with the current City State Legislation agenda.
