5. 2. Recommendation to respectfully request City Council approval of the 2016 State Legislative Agenda as recommended by the State Legislation Committee.

   A motion was made by Member Andrews, seconded by Vice Chair Gonzalez, to approve recommendation, as amended, to change Public Safety Item No. 25 to support or sponsor legislation that provides funding for multi-sector collaborative approaches to violence prevention, public safety, recognizing the continuum of services that are responsible for public safety; Item No. 26 to support legislation that would require police data reporting if funding is available to sustain data collection; and forward to the City Council for adoption. The motion carried by the following vote:
