Recommendation to adopt Mitigated Negative Declaration MND01-23 to allow the demolition of various existing industrial buildings totaling approximately 128,130 square feet of building area and approve a Conditional Use Permit to operate a trucking use that would accommodate 174 double stacked container stalls and 57 single stacked stalls, for a total of 231 stalls to store 405 containers across two properties addressed 1711 Harbor Avenue (CUP22-010 and 1515 W. 17th Street (CUP22-011) in the General Industrial (IG) Zoning District. The facility will operate in cooperation with the Port of Long Beach gate hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Site improvements would zero emission charge stations for on-site trucks would retain 1,746 square-foot of an existing detached building with an addition of 654-square-feet for an overall total of 2,400 square-feet to be used as an office building.
