Recommendation to authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to execute Personal Service Agreements with various instructors to provide free and low-cost public cultural arts programs at the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine facilities, for a period of one year from September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022, with two, one-year options to renew through August 31, 2024, at the discretion of the Director. Recommendation to authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to execute a Right-of-Entry Permit, and any other necessary documents, with The Public Corporation for the Arts Long Beach, dba Arts Council for Long Beach, a 501c3 nonprofit, for the production and maintenance of one mural in Houghton Park, for a term of one year from August 1, 2021, through July 31, 2022, to paint, complete, and maintain the mural, with two, three-year options to renew through August 31, 2028, for mural maintenance purposes, at the discretion of the Director.
