A charter amendment and ordinance to require the creation of a citizens commission of Long Beach residents, to determine the boundaries of City Council districts at least every ten years after the national census for members of the Long Beach City Council.

A charter amendment and ordinance to require the creation of an ethics commission comprised of Long Beach residents for the purpose of monitoring, administering, and enforcing governmental ethics laws in the City of Long Beach.

Recommendation to consider and receive comments from the community regarding the following proposed amendment to the Long Beach City Charter: A charter amendment to limit the Mayor and Councilmembers to serving three terms for each office, and eliminating the exception to term limits for write-in candidates.

A charter amendment to authorize the City Auditor to conduct performance audits, defined as independent assessments of programs, functions, operations, or management designed to enhance performance, cost savings, efficiency or service improvements of City departments, boards, commissions, and offices.
