  2. 21-019HS Fundraising Subcommittee Report § Commissioner Solano provided an update on the Mayor's Fund to End Homelessness Draft MOU · Met August 2, 2021 · Revision of MOU o According to HSAC bylaws, some of the proposed changes are not allowed o Paul Duncan, Homeless Services Officer provided update on language removed from MOU regarding quarterly invoicing o Added language to make public notification of any administrative funds if taken from Mayor’s funds and added language what funds would be used towards · Discussion on Long Beach Gives o Commissioner Solano provided an update on feedback on mailers § Discussion ensued among the Commission

Future HSAC Meetings • Alvin Teng, Special Projects Coordinator, provided update on health order and in person meetings and provided a recommendation from City staff for future meetings • Vice Chair Hui encouraged all members to respond to the meeting format survey, but agreed for HSAC meetings to remain virtual for now
