A motion was made by Vice Chair O'Donnell, seconded by Member Johnson, to forward recommendation to City Council that the communication be received and filed. The motion carried by the following vote:

A motion was made by Member Johnson, seconded by Chair Lowenthal, to request staff to come back to either the Environmental Committee and/or the Sustainable City Commission with a draft policy modifying Title 6 of the Long Beach Municipal Code to allow up to four (4) chickens, four (4) bee hives and two (2) goats, with neighbor to neighbor distance and include community input. The motion carried by the following vote:

Recommendation to City Council to concur in recommendation of the Environmental Committee to receive and file the Airport Advisory Commission Technical Subcommittee Policy which would foster the City’s efforts in support of Federal legislation, regulations and/or initiatives that promote a financially prudent transition towards safe “green” aircraft fuel while balancing the safety and financial concerns of the general aviation community for potential adoption by the Federal level.Agenda ItemAction: recommend to City Council that the communication be received and Passed
