A motion was made by Commissioner Hunter, seconded by Commissioner Bodek, to approve recommendation, as amended, to [1] recommend designation of Fire Station No. 9 located at 3917 Long Beach Boulevard as a Locally Designated Historic Landmark building to the City Council, [2] have staff return to the Cultural Heritage Commission with findings for preserving the exterior, and [3] have staff return with options the Commission can consider regarding land marking and preserving the interior features of the building along with their implications. The motion carried by the following vote:
